Dr. Feng is currently a Professor at the Department of Astronomy at the University of Science and Technology of China. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of California at San Diego in 2014. He worked as a postdoctoral research scholar at the University of California at Irvine and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States and joined the University of Science and Technology of China in 2021. His main research interests focus on theoretical and observational studies of the cosmic microwave background, cosmic infrared background, and intensity mapping. Also, he has been an active referee for major journals. Professor Feng has been the group leader for BINGO Stage IV since 2022, studying new physics using intensity mapping observations.

1) Theories and data analyses of the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation
2) Theories and data analyses for intensity mapping experiments
3) Methods for detecting space gravitational-wave signals

In this project, students are expected to learn the basics of simulations and data analyses for astrophysical observations and will be involved in a few ongoing projects for studying CMB, 21 cm, and gravitational waves.

Students with strong motivation and interests in both theoretical and experimental astrophysics.
