Biography:
Motivated by fundamental questions about how planets evolve and become habitable, my research focuses on analyzing planetary surfaces using remote sensing data. My work spans a broad range of topics, including stratigraphy, aqueous environments, crustal structures, and early impact records on Mars.
Research Interest:
Planetary surfaces; planetary geology; spectroscopy.
What You Can Expect in the Project:
You will assist with exploratory data analyses to characterize planetary surface mineralogy and geologic processes. Through this work, you will gain hands-on experience and develop a deeper understanding of how planetary remote sensing data can be used to interpret geologic processes.
Desired skill and background:
Basic coding skills for data processing and manipulation; experience with data analysis and statistical methods; and background in Earth and planetary science or a remated field.
