Biography:

Qingwei Zhang obtained his B.S and PhD degree in Lanzhou, carried out postdoctoral research with Prof Wei He in Tsinghua University and Prof. John Hartwig at UC Berkeley, respectively. For detailed publication list please refer to https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8577-6304

Research Interest:

Our research interest mainly focusses on asymmetric transition meal catalysis, heteroatom chirality and new reaction development based on mechanistic study.

What You Can Expect in the Project:

You will learn to perform transition metal catalyzed reactions for the synthesis of P- and S-stereogenic compounds. Learn to investigate reaction mechanism by DFT calculation.
