Biography:

Dr. Yan is a Professor in the Department of Astronomy at USTC. He obtained his PhD degree from NAOC in 2015. Before joining USTC, he worked at several international institutes, including European Southern Observatory, Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and University of Göttingen. He has published more than 60 papers on exoplanets in international journals.

The project focuses on how to use the spectrographs of CSST (China Space Station Telescope) to characterize exoplanet atmospheres.
