Biography:

Dr. Guorui Wang is a Professor in Department of Modern Mechanics at University of Science and Technology of China. His research is focused on the mechanics of nanomaterials, nanostructures and nanocomposites. He has published more than 60 SCI papers on top journals such as Physical Review Letters, etc. His works have been widely cited more than 2900 times.

Mechanical characterization of low-dimensional materials and interfaces
Structure-property relationship of functional organic materials and their macroscopic assemblies
Mechanical design of multiscale nanocomposites for extreme applications
In-situ multi-field mechanical testing platforms and methods

What You Can Expect in the Project:

The students will be dedicated to the mechanical studies of nanomaterials, nanostructured materials and nanocomposites based on sophisticated characterization techniques such as atomic force microscopy, in situ electron microscopy, etc.
