Research Interest:
Quantum Optics, Photonic Quantum Information, Quantum Measurement, Quantum Walks, etc.
What You Can Expect in the Project:
Spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC) in the high gain region has raised great interest recently in quantum optics as well as in photonic quantum information. The project involves the theoretic and experimental investigation on the SPDC pumped by ultrashort laser pulse with a high pulse energy.
Desired skill and background:
Theoretical background on quantum optics and quantum information, experimental skills with optics
