Biography:
Zhou Chao joined Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP) in 2018, received his Ph.D. in 2014 at University of Twente. He worked at ITER from 2014 to 2016 as a postdoc working on superconducting magnet for Fusion, at University of of Twente from 2016-2018 as a postdoc and then senior scientific researcher. After he joined ASIPP, he is working on the test and analysis of superconductors and its applications with several national research programs, He has published more than 90 peer reviewed papers, received IEEE CSC fellowship in 2013, Monaco Fellow in 2015,etc.
Research Interest:
Superconductivity for Nuclear Fusion、Application of High-Field Superconducting Technology、Superconducting Science and Technology,etc.
What You Can Expect in the Project:
Within this project,students will acquire basic knowledge in superconducting science and technology, cryogenic engineering, mechanical engineering,and will be able to participate in the study of cutting-edge research topics.
