Graduated from USTC in 2003, and earned PhD degree in Physics from New Mexico Tech. Published over 100 papers on peer-reviewed journals. Since early 2034, serve as Associate Editor for the comprehensive geoscientific journal Earth and Space Science of American Geophysical Union and invited member of editorial board for the earth and environmental science section of Science Bulletin.

Lightning physics, atmospheric and space electricity, application of novel and advanced instrumentation in atmospheric detection, and coupling between different regions of Earth system.

Knowledge of lightning physics and thunderstorm-driven coupling between lower atmosphere and near-Earth space. Skills to observe transient luminous events and measure radio frequency lightning signals.

Strong interest in Earth and planetary sciences, excellent background in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and wonderful skills in laboratory and field observations.
