Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. in Quantitative Methodology Program under Educational Psychology at The University of Georgia, and previously worked in Research, Measurement & Evaluation Program at The University of Miami as an assistant professor. She has published in peer-reviewed journals including Educational Psychology Review, Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Journal of Educational Measurement, and Assessing Writing. Dr. Wang has received the Georg William Rasch Early Career Publication Award granted by American Educational Research Association Rasch Measurement SIG. She is a principal investigator of multiple national and international grants.

Her research focuses on developing and evaluating performance assessment systems with an emphasis on writing assessments and creativity assessments, through the use of innovative technology and statistical modeling.

Participate in a National R&D program to develop a platform with adaptive testing and automated scoring algorithms for performance assessments.

Major in education or psychology, proficient in R language, and programming skills are preferred.
