Biography:
I am a geochemist and got my Bachelor and Ph.D from USTC. I have published 92 papers in the leading journals, and have a wide cooperations with the scientists from Europe, US, and Japan. I received the Excellent Young Scientist Grant of NSFC in 2016, selected as the Outstanding Member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS in 2018, and received the Hou Defeng Young Scientist Prize of Chinese Society of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry in 2020.
Research Interest:
(1) Metal stable isotope (like Mg-Fe-Ba) geochemistry, especially on the metasomatism in the mantle and subduction zones;
(2) Fluids and the geochemical effects in subduction zones;
(3) The behavior of accessory minerals and its bearing on geochemistry and geochronology;
(4) Crust-mantle interaction in subduction zones, and the bearing on mantle heterogeneity in terms of petrology, trace elements and isotopes.
What You Can Expect in the Project:
Two projects can be considered: (1) The role of serpentinite in the formation of magmas. The samples will cover those from Philippine and south Tibet, mainly using elemental and B-Mg isotope analysis; (2) volatile and redox transfer at forearc settings, mainly using elemental and Fe-Mg isotope analysis.
Desired skill and background:
It is better to have a knowledge of petrology and geochemistry.
