Biography:
Dr. Yiheng Lin earned his B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2005, obtained PhD degree from University of Colorado Boulder at 2015. Dr. Lin joined USTC as a faculty since 2018. His research focuses on trapped ion quantum information processing experiments, including high fidelity quantum logic gates, open quantum system, novel techniques of quantum entanglement, fundamental quantum physics, etc. His long term goal is to build massive scale quantum information processing system, for quantum computing, quantum simulation and quantum metrology. Dr. Lin published numerous scientific works in influential journals including Nature, Science and PRL.
