The group has been focusing on applications of the latest development in computer science and fluidic physics to the technologies of thermal energy as well as the study of biology and medicine, advancing them on practical demand of high precision and efficienty.

At present, the group is working on the topics of single molecular screening, single cell analysis, protein crystallization in double emulsion, as well as thermal metamaterial.

The students are proposed to learn the design of thermal metamaterial

Knowledge about mathematics is necessary, including but not limited to the linear algebra and curvilinear coordinates
