Dr. Xiaodong Ma conducted research and teaching at Stanford University and ETH Zürich. He is a lifetime member and Future Leader of American Rock Mechanics Association, and received its inaugural Distinguished Service Award. He currently leads international collaborative projects in Europe, China and North America. He heads several international journals and professional societies.
