Biography:
Prof. Zeng earned his B.S. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1997 and 2002, and then worked as a postdoc at University of Tennessee. In 2007, he return to USTC as a faculty member. Today, he holds the Chair Professor position at USTC and the “Changjiang Scholar,” an honorary title bestowed by the Ministry of Education of China. With a prolific academic output, Prof. Zeng has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles in the realm of low-dimensional physics, contributing significantly to the advancement of the field.
Research Interest:
Prof. Zeng’s research focuses on low-dimensional condensed matter physics. He has made a spectrum of progresses in the design and realization of novel electronic states and transport properties of quantum materials by multi-scale experimental methods, especially by taking advantage of the proximal coupling of artificial heterostructures.
